I find it curious that anyone, especially a scientist, would be surprised that there is an innate understanding of mathematics embedded in the human psyche. After all, a human had to come up with a system of symbols to represent quantities in the first place. It brought to mind a book I read by Roger Penrose, mentor to Steven Hawking, called "The Emperor's New Mind". In this book, Penrose goes through a series of thought experiments proving that a binary computer could NEVER come up with it's own mathematical axiom. A computer is the equivalent of the "blank slate" described in the above video. A true blank slate could NEVER come up with a mathematical axiom. Since humans did create mathematical axioms, the idea that all humans are blank slates is proven false.
At about 9:30 in the above video, the narrator mentions the microcosm within the macrocosm representing the relationship between man and the universe. This happens to be the essence of the "Holographic Universe Theory" where each bit or particle within the universe contains the totality of all information comprising the universe. I almost omitted this video series because I thought that it was too subjective. The reason I included it is because the last few minutes aroused a thought that had been tucked away in the back of my brain, but had never been able to surface. I feel that even the most materialistic, socially programmed sheople experience moments of clarity where they realize that they have given away their humanity by embracing the shallow, apathetic, egotistical culture which was sold to them by pop-culture and the mainstream media. I am willing to bet that these lucid moments scare the shit out of these types of people and a great relief awaits them when they give in to their next impulse allowing their mind to revert back to it's previous fragmented state. I think that no matter how strong their programming is, there will always be opportunities for individuals to break free because freedom is not a condition of the environment...it is the fundamental state of the human mind.
